Hawks Coaching Clinic with Eric Morrisette
Thursday February 18th
18:30 - CAC Classroom drill building/discussion
19:30 - 20:45 CAC Ice. Eric will run a practice with drill building.

The on ice session is good to observe.  This creates good discussion with our coaches in the stands while the practice is going on.  It will also give you some ideas about tempo and progression.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call.  All coaches including Initiation Coaches are welcome.

This is an open learning opportunity for anyone interested in coaching for the Hawks or within the North West Zone.

• As a player he won collegiate National Championships
  
• He has been a scout in the CHL (Canadian Hockey League)
• Eric has coached at almost every level
• Head coach of U-10 Team Brick Alberta
  
• Successfully built two hockey academy programs Vimy Ridge and St. Edmund/Archbishop O'Leary
• Personal hockey trainer for many NHL players
• Has the highest level coaching certification in Canada

Attention all goalie families and friends of goalie families. It's not to late to register for our clinic. Contact Brad Lea at bklea@shaw.ca for info or check our Hockey Development page within the info section of our main menu.
These clinics were announced at our coaches meeting. Many teams currently and in the past have paid for their goalies to attend as it is a critical part of developing our teams.
Regardless  goalies are invited out for a look see and Coaches are encouraged to come out to get ideas and resources for developing these critical players.
Gold in the Net offers a quality program and Brad as our development director is available as a resource to any team that requires help growing our kids hockey skills.
